Sessions

Navigate history and manage past generations.

This chapter covers how sessions work, how to navigate your history, and how to manage past generations.

What Is a Session?

Every time you generate images, Open Wonder creates a session that bundles your prompt and the resulting images together. Think of it as a creative workspace for a single idea. You can return to any session later to review results or generate more.

Session History

Your recent sessions appear in the left rail, sorted by most recent activity. Each session shows a thumbnail, a title derived from your prompt, who created it, and how long ago.

Reopening a Session

Click any session in the left rail to reopen it. You will see all the images from that session and can continue generating more in the same context.

Draft Sessions

If you have submitted a prompt but images have not been generated yet, the session appears as a "Draft" in the history. Once generation completes, the draft updates to show the resulting images.

Status Indicators

Sessions show visual indicators so you always know what is happening:

  • A spinner while images are generating.
  • A dot when new images are ready and you have not viewed them yet.
  • An error state if generation failed.

Right-click (or use the three-dot menu) on a session and choose "Copy session link" to share the direct link with a teammate. They can open the same session if they have access to the brand.

Deleting a Session

From the three-dot menu, choose "Delete session." This removes the session and any images that have not been saved to the Library. Images already saved to the Library are not affected.
