Team and Roles
Understand team structure and role permissions.
This chapter explains how teams are structured in Open Wonder and what each role can do.
Organizations and Brands
Open Wonder uses a two-level hierarchy. At the top level is an Organization, which can contain multiple Brands. Each brand has its own styles, assets, library, and team members. Users are invited to specific brands with specific roles, so one person can have different roles on different brands within the same organization.
Roles
There are four roles, listed from most to least access.
Owner
Full control over the brand. Owners can manage billing and subscription settings, invite and remove members, assign roles, create and train styles, manage brand assets, configure brand settings, and use all creative features.
Admin
Same capabilities as Owner, except Admins cannot manage billing or subscription settings. Admins can invite and remove members, manage styles and brand assets, update brand settings, and use all creative features.
Member
Members have access to all creative features. They can generate images in Imagine, Product & Character, and Assistant modes, browse and organize the Library, and save and share assets. Members cannot manage styles, brand assets, or team settings.
Viewer
Read-only access. Viewers can browse the Library and download assets, but they cannot generate new images or modify any brand settings. Viewers can only access their own user settings.
Inviting Team Members
Admins and Owners can invite new people from the Brand Settings members section. Enter the person's email address and choose a role. The invitee receives an email with a link to join the brand. If they do not have an Open Wonder account yet, one is created automatically when they accept the invite.
Changing Roles
Admins and Owners can change any team member's role at any time from the members list. The change takes effect immediately.
Removing Members
Admins and Owners can remove a member from the brand. Removed users lose access to the brand but any assets they created remain in the Library.
